Services Provided: This facility is rather deceptive in appearance. It is difficult to see in this picture, but the two story building on the right was the first building on the site. The owner is a hazardous waste cleanup company. They bought the property and added a truck garage onto the rear. Then years later, they approached us at Masiello Construction and wanted to add onto it, while maintaining the look and improving the functionality. This was my first attempt at using wood framed residential style construction to conceal a commercial application. Basically we were adding more office space and increasing the capability of the garage out back. It was an engineering horror, but the design fits in with the surroundings and blends in with the original house. I personally think it was a success. So much so that the surrounding buildings that were built later imitated many of the features in that particular design. I for one can say that flattery is the most sincerest of compliments.
